Tianna Woods loved music and performing so much, that she auditioned for Etobicoke School of the Arts, an arts high school where she was accepted and attended their 5 year program. She graduated with honours and a triple major in music theatre, music and dance. After graduating University, Tianna started working in the business field, with a University degree behind her, she started focusing on developing her career as an entertainer. She put together a band and has been performing at festivals, fairs, jamborees and private events in Canada and the U.S., as well as fundraising charity events for cancer research and military families.
In 2013 Tianna was named “Artist of the Month” by the Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO). In 2014 she made the first round CMAO nominations for Female Artist, Rising Star and Single of the Year. In 2015 she was nominated for the CMAO Female Artist of the year (along with Michelle Wright, Kira Isabella and Beverley Mahood) and Rising Star.
Tianna launched her kick off tour show It’s About Country Music and “Then Some” at the Backstage Capital Theatre in Delhi, ON and will be booking more dates for 2015. Her show features her music, as well as country music through the years. The show also features Tianna’s vocal, and music theatre background, as well as the 7 musical instruments she plays. Radio Bingo and a Tune is featured both Monday and Thursday Nights at 7pm. There is a progressive pot that must be won on 53 numbers or less, the progressive pot maximum is $4500.00. All bingo proceeds are returned to the community via various local programs and initiatives.
