BRANDON SOLOMON

Brandon Solomon is a singer/songwriter from Christian Island Ontario and currently lives in Kettle & Stony Point First Nation. Brandon comes from a family of musicians, plays guitar, writes and performs his own material. In the past five years he’s released songs “Barricade”,”10th Regiment”, “Dreams Like Mine”, “Sixties Scoop” and as a solo artist, “Eye For An Eye”.  These have all been on the Indigenous Music Countdown (formerly the National Aboriginal Music Countdown Top 40). Brandon uses an acoustic guitar and harmonica when he writes songs about Native issues.  They are about the past, present and about his own personal views and expressions. He enlisted the help of a few musicians from Kettle Point a few years back, forming the band Direction Four (D4).  The very first full length album from Direction Four titled ‘Dreams Like Mine’ was released in 2013. THE EAGLE 107.7 FM is very excited to release a snippet of Brandon’s newest song ‘Reservation Line”!  (Click on the link below to hear)  Also, you can hear two of his newest songs, premiering on Thursday night, September 14, 2017 on Radio Bingo & A Tune!  Brandon will be interviewed on Monday, September 18 at 1:00 PM – make sure you tune in!!
